Spartans Family Day

Spartan Family Day is the biggest club celebration of the year, focused on all hockey players and their families and friends. Not only is the “A-team” involved, but also all the youth teams meet to spend a sunny afternoon featuring entertainment, games and many sport activities.

NHLPA Goals & Dreams Anniversary

In 1999, the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) launched the NHLPA Goals & Dreams fund as a way for the players to give something back to the game they love. Over the past 10 years, more than 350 former and current NHLPA members have been personally involved in helping facilitate NHLPA Goals & Dreams donations in either their hometown or their NHL playing cities. In 2009, the association celebrated its 10th anniversary and decided to travel to 10 countries in 10 days and donate more than $125,000 worth of hockey equipment. Thanks to former NHL player and Sparta player Martin Rucinsky, our youth teams received 25 sets of brand-new hockey equipment.

HC Sparta Praha Summer Hockey School

Since 2007, Sparta has been organising its own summer hockey camp. All children can spend an awesome week designed to help develop their hockey skills, conditioning and power skating. The kids receive on-ice instruction from current Sparta players and alumni as well.
