The second duel with Liberec this season offered a pretty dramatic fight. Liberec went to a two-goal lead, Sparta turned the score thanks to two goals by Jan Buchtele and the third by Michal Čajkovský. Liberec returned to lead after two goals and finally Robert Sabolič sent the game to overtime. In the sixth series of shootout decided three-goal hero Jan Buchtele.
