Sparta lost its home unbeaten status in the rescheduled game of 17th Tipsport extraleague round. Lukáš Cingel sent Spartans to the lead with lucky goal in the first period but Karlovy Vary managed to tied the game and in the end won with two points in the shootout in which scored only Rostislav Marosz from visiting team.
