After a celebratory lunch of the Legend´s Club at the STAGES HOTEL, its present members moved to the Galerie Harfa to sign autographs. Prior to the opening faceoff of the game against Pardubice, the club welcomed five new members.

The first inductee was former defenseman Karel Masopust, who won one silver and two bronze medals during his time with Sparta, and was recognized in memoriam. His daughter Helena Vlčková and granddaughter Kristýna received the plaque and framed jersey on behalf of the late silver medallist from the 1968 Grenoble Olympics.

Second was Jan Reindl, the captain of the 1990 championship team, followed by his teammate and later captain of the 1993 squad Jiří Kročák, currently a coach within the Sparta youth academy.

Patrik Martinec, a long-time Spartan and assistant captain, who won the title with the team 22 years ago, was the next to walk the red carpet. The final inductee to receive a big applause from the large crowd at the O2 arena was David Výborný, the legendary forward who recorded over 100 starts for the Czech national team.

The five-time world champion, holder of two Spartan titles and long-time Columbus player joined his father František in elite company, making him the 37th player to be included.
