The first duel with Oceláři Třinec, the winner of last season semifinal series between Sparta and Třinec, offered attractive and dramatic show. Sparta went to the lead but Třinec scored three goals and turned the score. Sparta tied the game thanks to Piskáček and Sabolič and thanks to Réway answered also to the fourth goal of Oceláři. And finally got the victory with goal of Mikuš and Hamilton. The seventh goal scored Kumstát to the empty net.
