Spartans had a good start in the game against their biggest rival Kometa Brno and they took the lead with no doubts. Jiri Smejkal scored his first goal in Tipsport Extraleague ever but the home team settled the score in the last second of the second period and after a dramatic battle during the third one also took the win.
